From an espresso martini festival, to drinking cocktails perched 100 feet up on a crane in the sky – here are some amazing London cocktail events you do not want to miss.

 

JULY

19th – 30th July – Cocktails In The Sky with Mr Foggs 

Forget extreme sports, this is extreme drinking. How about sipping on cocktails whilst seated on a crane 100 feet up above the London skyline? For a short window of time you do this vertigo inducing boozy experience , with gin cocktails served by Mr Foggs.

27th-29th July – Flower-Shop Style Pop-Up Bar (Maison St Germain) 

Drink delicious drinks whilst surrounded by bountiful blooms at this epic pop up bar on Soho Square. A three day stint, from French liqueur St Germain. You can expect floral corridors, an on-site florist – and – a bar full of flowers and to boot some floral style serves. But we reckon it’ll be a popular one because it’s free to get in, with a drink included. See you in the queue!

28th – 29th July – Cocktails In The City (summer Edition)

Come along for an al fresco cocktail fest. With some of the best bars in London setting up shop in the beautiful Georgian gardens at Bedford Square. Buy your £15 ticket and then get £7.50 cocktails all night, from the likes of London Cocktail Club, Cahoots and The Blind Pig.

17th July – 30th September – Vinyl & Cocktail Pairing pop up

Remember the good ole HMV days when you used to dance around to MJ at the headphone stand? Well you can relive the glory times (with booze) at this Jones Family Project pop up. The bar have themed up a section of the venue to look like a retro 1970s living room. Here you can cosy up, pop on some headphones and put on a record, while sipping on a matching cocktail – drink pairings include; Elvis Presley – Peanut Butter Sandwich, Abba – Absolute Cosmopolitan and Michael Jackson – Zombie. But if your fave tune or cocktail isn’t on the list, you’re encourage to make a request – and you could see it on the ever-evolving menu. Got a lil’ party to plan? You can book the area for free for up to six people.

AUGUST

10th-12th August – Mr Black Espresso Martini Festival

Get a mega caffeine kick at London’s first Espresso Martini festival. 50 London bars , including Original Sin, Milk & Honey, and Bourne & Hollingsworth will mix up their take on an Espresso Martini for just £5 a pop if you’ve bought your £10 festival pass.

Selected Mondays – Oriole Spirited Suppers

Just launched! One of London’s favourite cocktail bars Oriole has just launched a series of boozy dinner parties. Head to the 1950 style basement bar where the theme is all about exploration. Hosted each time by a different distiller, you’ll taste your way through different spirits, learning about the history and how it’s made, while tucking into delicious small plates and listening to live jazz. And you’ll get some cocktail action of course, with an aperitif and digestif served up at each feast. Up next is Appleton Rum on August 14th with a mouthwatering masterclass. See ya there.

OCTOBER

2nd – 8th October – London Cocktail Week

The ultimate cocktail event kicks off again this September. Come and nab a wristband that’ll get you a £6 cocktail at some of the city’s best bars. Plus, there’ll be a buzzing cocktail village – packed with crazy serves and general booziness.
