We’ll be first in line for these new London bars and restaurant openings, including a speakeasy hidden behind a pharmacy shop.

1. Evan’s & Peel PharmacyOpening August

What: Love a secret bar – which is why we’re excited about this opening. The bar is hidden behind a 1920s pharmacy counter where you’ll meet the pharmacist before this intimate little bar is revealed. In there you’ll find twists on classics and imaginative pharmaceutical themed creations.

Who’s behind it: The same guys who own Evan’s & Peel Detective Agency in Earl’s Court. So you can expect more of the same speakeasy vibes and theatrics.

Where: Chiswick

When’s it opening? 21st August

2. Smoking Goat Shoreditch – Opening October

What: Soho’s renowned Thai barbecue pub is coming East way, but this time the main focus is on the bar – with cocktails using the same ingredients and fruits used in the delicious food – for which there’ll be a short and sweet menu of just 4 dishes that change daily. Goat to be done (!)

Where: Shoreditch

Opening: October

3. Cub (From Mr Lyan)Opening September

What? New (high end) restaurant and bar at Mr Lyan’s Hoxton digs, where the drinks and food are equally a big deal – along with a strong sustainable focus.

Who’s behind it: With Doug McMaster on the food (from renowned Zero-waste restaurant Silo in Brighton) and world famous cocktail guy Ryan Chetiyawardana, a.k.a Mr Lyan, on the drinks

Where? Upstairs where White Lyan used to be on Hoxton Street.

Opening… Early September
