Mr Lyan opens epic new Super Lyan this Friday. His ‘Bitchin’ Classics’ menu includes ingredients like avocado leaf bitters, Guinness and… shock! Ice cubes
It was sad times for the London cocktail scene and bartenders alike when legendary Hoxton bar, White Lyan, closed its doors last week. But… almost as soon as the doors shut word got out that owner Mr Lyan (a.k.a multi-awarding bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana) was setting up a new exciting venture in its place.
The bar will be serving up, Quote, “Bitchin’ Classics” where classic cocktails get a magic, Mr Lyan twist. (We all know every cocktail this guy touches turns to gold). And.. BREAKING NEWS.. there might even be some ice in there… (White Lyan had a bit of a strict policy against the cubes).
To break down the often overwhelming jargon on cocktail menus, there’s a few key words under the cocktail, to give drinkers an immediate idea of what to expect..
